[Elecraft] K2 SSB audio......

         I almost exclusively use the K2 on SSB 10W. 	I have had 
several unsolicited 'nice audio' reports. Normally I use the Kenwood 
fist mike that comes with a TS850 (MH2?? I picked it up at a flea 
market for 3 bucks!). but also have used the Heil headset with a DX 
element (but not the Heil/Elecraft fist mike).

I suspect you were listening to a rig with a minor 
alignment/soldering problem.
