[Elecraft] K2 SSB audio......

I have noticed a number of poor sounding K2's on SSB over a period of time. 
In each instance it was due to a poor mic, i.e., the op says "I normally 
don't use SSB but I found this old mic in my junk box..."

Garbarge in, garbage out. The K2, like most rigs, sounds best with a decent 
mic. Most of us qrp'ers are thrifty but scrimping on a good mic will cost 
you good audio...

I have used two mic's on my K2 and both do a fine job for me: Icom SM-20 and 
the Heil GM-4 GoldLine...
