First, I have had uniformly poor results from random wires or end fed
quarter wave wires.  YOU MUST have a counterpoise or one radial.

You could, with a transmatch, try 33 feet for the antenna wire, and 17 feet
for the counterpoise.  Various arrangements of the wire and counterpoise re
each other may give varying results.  I think I would emulate a dipole, ie
33 feet high and clear as possible, and 17 feet 180 degrees in other
direction like half of a dipole that fell down.
