This was my first foray into the world of the NA sprint.  Thanks to Tree
N6TR for the invitation to participate with Team Elecraft.  I hope other
members did well.  The CW was easy and the contest format was easy to
pick up after a few minutes of operating.  It wasnt so easy to drop to
QRP from the usual low power entry and lose the ability to get more
consistent answers to the CQ/QRZ!!  That took some getting used to.  I
used my K1 #1012 on 40 and 20 running 5 watts and was wicked pleased
with it's performance!  Antennae included a TH6DXX on 20, and a 40 meter
half square up about 55 feet.  It was interesting to note how the
activity on the band changed as operators moved down in frequency.  I
would probably have made more Qs if I could have moved to 80 with the
rest.  I also would have done better if I remembered the contest started
at 7pm vs. 8pm.  My confusion lost me 20 minutes in the beginning!
Anyway, it was a good time.  Im interested to know how I measured up to
other QRP stations?
