Isn't that the whole point?  ;-)  I remember when I made my first DX contact
to Aruba with 10 watts into my homemade attic dipole.  It was the neatest
thing.  The second contact was with Brazil I think... worked all of Europe,
Asiatic Russia, Japan, all states, some African stations... all on my little
$6 antenna.  It was a thrill....

Now with QRP (and I have own a couple of QRP rigs in the near past) the
thrill is still there.  I still enjoy the CW, but PSK31 is alot of fun too!
This year I am doing all contests QRP.

BTW, I am still amazed that you can get PSK31 signals out of the ether when
I cannot even hear them.... I just see the pattern on the display and work
em...
