[Elecraft] T-5 question

Hi-
       I just installed T-5 on the main board and while checking the 
connections I noticed that there was continuity between not only 1&2 and 3&4, 
but also 1&3 and 2&4 and all other combinations.  I kept the leads short so I 
can't imagine how they could have shorted together, so either this is normal 
or I have a real problem.  I'm a real novice so I would appreciate any help 
very much.  Thank you very much in advance.
