Hi again Gang

I managed to measure the frequency error on my K2 this morning, the results
are as follows:

K2 Temp 20.0C 23.3C 25.4C
Time 08:33 09:33 13:30

Display

3.560 +1 +21 +18
7.030 -1 +7 -3
10.106 -4 -5 -19
14.060 +4 -22 -33
18.096 -7 -33 -60
21.060 +12 -83 -112
24.906 +0 -110 -136
28.060 +20 -120 -164

Figures show error in Hz relative to displayed frequency.
(Hopefully, the formatting will still be readable...)

The K2 was inside a Mountain Ops Tack Pack, the ambient temperature in the
shack varied by less than 1 degree C (21 C). While the thermal insulation of
the Tack Pack probably doesn't help the drift figures, in practice the K2
would probably have been used on transmit as well so would probably have
warmed up as a result even without the Tack Pack. The K2's temperature was
measured by a thermometer probe inserted between the case and the Tack Pack.

Measurements taken on a few seconds of transmit into a dummy load, coupled
into a Racal-Dana 9916 counter locked to MSF via a G4JNT MKII off-air
standard with a short term error of +/- 1 part in 10^8 (0.1 Hz at 10 MHz)
and long term error of +/- 2 parts in 10^12. Software in K2 version 2.01, K2
originally calibrated after a warm up in excess of 3 hours.
