What version of the firmware do you have Dave? I heard that the frequency
readout accuracy was greatly improved with some of the later versions. I am
waiting on an upgrade now for my two-year old K2.

You are right. I have checked my K2 against WWV at 10 MHz because that
signal always roars into the northwest here. Given the frequency generating
scheme, I would have expected the stability to be the same on any band. The
PLL synthesizer should remain locked to the same reference no matter what
the output frequency.

The only problem with that statement is the word "should". I'll get out my
freq counter and see how my K2 behaves on 28 MHz.
