OK, great -- I suspected this but didn't know for sure. No CAL OPF
than!

However, does the KAT1 remember the settings after a board swap?
I suspect not -- and it's not a huge inconvenience to retune anyway.

I doubt there is room in the current PIC but a "parental lockout"
would be handy -- I've known people who accidentally get into the wrong
menu, fat-fingering buttons. It would be nice to lock out CAL and the band
settings, and perhaps FL and STP.

Interesting firmware sequence discovered this weekend...turn on
RIT on the K1, turn it off, then transmit ... OFF appears on the 
display after you transmit (after the power display bars disappear).
