First, I assume by SSB kit that you mean the SSB module that goes into
the K2. 

There's no problem with adding the modules as you choose. If you want an
SSB rig, then get the K2 and the SSB module. Build the K2 and when it is
all working, build and add the SSB module.

The modules (SSB, Noise Blanker, AF Filter, 160 Meter band coverage,
antenna tuner, etc.) are all designed to be built and add as the owner
chooses. They assume that you have the basic K2 (QRP CW rig) running
first.

First post to the group (hope that explains it all!).

Going to order a K2 and SSB kits after the holidays.

For a great ssb QRP rig should I just order one of each
of the kits? Also is it best to get them all at one time or
can order them later?

Last question for now, how long does it take to assemble
a K2 on average?
