[Elecraft] K2 & Warren Gegorie Headset/Boom Mike

I'm looking to buy a new set of headphones (my daughter stepped on the 
other pair which were connected to my IC-2010).  I was looking through QST 
& noticed the Warren Gregorie Headsets kits with a boom mike & I 
thought....hmmm, wonder how that would work.

Anybody used this headset with or w/o the boom mike with the K2??  (I use 
the Heil mike & it works well)
