I finished the KAT100, installed it in the EC2 with the KPA100.

Now I can run the 100 watt K2 with autotuner in the shack, or I can pick 
up the original K2 with internal KAT2 and battery and go portable.

The only external connections needed between the K2 and the EC2-100 are 
the bnc antenna connection and the RS232 cable.  The K2 does have the 
serial interface module.

I did disconnect the internal cable for connecting the Kpa100 speaker to 
the K2.  I jumpered the connection on the edge of the KPA 100 card so 
that I can plug an external audio source into the external speaker 
connector on the KPA100 in the EC2.  Before the mod, this connector 
disconnected the speaker.

It all plays together nicely.
