[Elecraft] K2 and 756PRo owners - question

Hi folks -
I was strictly running my 756PRO (because it was using my LDG AT-11 tuner)
while I built the KAT100. Lately the bands have been a bit noise shall we
say.  When I got back on to the K2 tonite I realized that the 756 seems to
have a bit of a "roar" (for lack of better term) when you tighten up the
filters. In short the K2 seems quiter - I don't remember hearing that
difference when I first did some A/B tests. George and others - do you get a
sense of heightened noise or "roaring" when you tighten down the 756 filters
below 500 - as compared to your K2's. I'd appreciate any observations you
are willing to share.
