The LoHi fan mode seems to be the logical choice to keep the K2/100 cabinet
temp under control. We need to keep VFO drift to a minumum. I usually keep
my power turned down to 10 watts when I am listening; that way the fan is not
on. The fan only turns on low when power is cranked up to 11 watts or higher.
Eric, it would be great to see a software change around this. Change
it so that the fan will go to low when transmitting and then when heat the
sink reaches the higher value, then the fan goes to high. This way one does
not have to ride the power control back down when just listening.
Another thought would be to have 2 difference sense points; one for lo
fan speed and the other for high fan speed. Just some thoughts.
