Lee,

Bob, N4BP ran my K2/100 (#2281) during the CWSS.
He came in #2 in the low power category. He gave the
little guy a workout and it performed flawlessly. It was
mounted in a 19 inch rack but it had one of the 12VDC
fans blowing over the heatsink. Those fans are widely
available. A defunct computer power supply will have
one in it and you can probably get all you can use from
any computer shop, just for the asking!

Don't put the fan on top of the K2 blowing down, you
may get some slight VFO "modulation" from the small
amount of vibration the fan generates, just have the
fan blow across the heatsink.

Good luck & 73,
John, NP2B
