There was a "builder's alert" out to add a capacitor across R7 on the
Control Board that was later rescinded. 

I think it was also included in the errata in a number of kits before
Eric announced a new alert to remove it if it's been added to any rigs.
It was supposed to provide more stable current sensing when the KPA100
was used (apparently some r-f getting into the current sense circuits)
but more testing showed that adding the capacitor produced very
inaccurate current measurements so Eric posted a message to remove it if
anyone had added it.

Don't confuse that with the instruction to change C42 in the same
circuit on the Control Board from 0.01 ufd (in older K2's) to 0.1 ufd
for the same reason. That change still stands the last I heard.

I seem to recall anote about something that had to be changed in the 
abpve series of serial #s.  I believed that my K2 would be later than 
3077 and unfortunately I deleted the note.  However, when I got the kit 
a couple of days ago, it was within the above series.  Does anyone know 
what had to be changed?
