I agree with Vic.

The fun in 2x QRP, we all understand. But remember, too, if you make a
contact where you're QRP and the other station QRO... and he/she is
having
to struggle to hear you, that's not a considerate or productive way to
operate. That's the time to crank up the power to a comfortable level
for
the other station.

That works both ways, Ed...It's not considerate or productive for a QRO
op to answer your CQ then expect you to crank the power up so he can hear
you better when you don't HAVE more power...You can tell this has
happened when, after you tell them you are QRP, they give you the bum's
rush to get off...QRP ops understand and will usually try to make a go of
it, quite often (not always) the QRO op won't...

The most annoying thing to me is the lazy op who answers your CQ with "de
WA2xxx"...I ignore those responses now...That happened to me years ago
when I was running a Tentec 1330 and I took the bait, only to find out
that he wasn't calling me, he was calling someone else that I didn't even
hear, and I was embarrassed to find out that I just spent a couple of
minutes creating QRM because nobody was listening...
