  I assume you have revision 2 of the firmware.  In the manual for revision 
2, it says (page 2):

"If you see INFO 232 at any time during VFO calibration, tap any switch to 
clear the message, then verify that you were on 40 meters and that the 
counter cable was plugged into TP1.  If youstill get INFO 232 with the 
correct setup, it's likely that your counter probe is malfunctioning or is 
plugged in backwards at the control board."

Note, with revision 2 of the firmware, you do CAL PLL only on 40 meters 
(the frequency can be set anywhere on 40).  You do not do CAL PLL on other 
bands.
