What a wonderful group this reflector is!!

Less than two weeks ago, I posted an appeal for help with a KPA-100 kit I
bought in June.  Due to a very recent illness, I didn't feel I could
assemble it.  (Boy, was I right... I tried to solder a PL-259 onto a cable
last week and my hands are so weak and shakey I almost couldn't do that!)

A dozen or so offers quickly came in, including one from Lyle Johnson, KK7P
who offered not only to build the kit, but to get me going quickly, he
offered to swap me his recently-built amp for my kit, install  and check it
out and return it to me.  He turned it around in a single day... installed
it ON Thanksgiving day, no less.  Michael Morovitch (The Toroid Guy) wanted
to contribute and sent Lyle a free set of toroids to go in the kit.  K2
#1886 has now grown up to a full-fledged K-2/100 and I am having a ball with
it and getting outstanding reports on QRO.

A simple "Thank you" just seems so weak, I thought I would publicly
acknowledge these great guys.  Just felt I wanted remind the rest of you the
kind of  folks we have in the Elecraft community --especially Lyle and
Michael--. in case any of us tend to forget..
