Sorry 'bout that.  I thought that the K2's iambic A and iambic B modes
were like the Yaesu FT-1000MP's iambic 1 and iambic 2 modes.

The MP's iambic 2 mode does allow what Colin, N0YGY wanted.  In fact, it
is difficult to key anything into the MP's message memories in the iambic
1 mode because iambic 1 insists that the operator sends perfectly-formed
characters and spacings.
