Hi all,
For what it's worth, K2 #2768 is up and running - with the notable exception
of 12m. I have traced this to what I believe to be a faulty C45, so I'll be
fixing that asap. I'm getting a minimum of 13W on all bands, so no
complaints there.
I did have problems with 20m until I remembered that the trimmers could be a
bit iffy unless they had been tweaked quite a bit: about 20 turns on each
cap and it sprang into life.
One other point: getting T2 to stay a few mm above the PCB is very easy if
you use one of those old TO-5 stand-off insulators - I had one in my junkbox
that is as close to 1/16" as makes no difference. It certainly keeps the
transformer nicely in its place.
Now for the SSB unit and other options...after fixing 12m

PS: And don't forget the guys at Elecraft support - they did their best to
help out when I had a problem.
