[Elecraft] about my k2's

Thank you for that post Hans. I have been puzzling over a very similar
problem here. During the evening only, when using my K2 as a transverter
IF for 6m, I have found the S meter rising to S6 or 7 when there is no
signal (at least on 6m!). I can still hear six metre signals 'through'
this although it does appear to affect sensitivity. The signal is
fairly broadband from roughly 50.050 to 50.250 (28.050 - 28.250) the dx
end of the 6m band:(
It also appears to be directional as I can peak it with the 5 ele beam.
The signal does disappear as the antenna is removed. When I say signal,
I mean whatever is causing the S meter to respond.
I don't recall the 18 and 10MHz mods, so I will look into that.
It has been driving me crazy...
I feel much better now :))
