Hi, Glenn
I have the microphone data sheet here. The numbers in parentheses
below are the pin-outs for the 5-pin DIN plug supplied with the mike.
shield (1) - GND
white (2) - NC side of PTT SW1 (shorts to pin 4 on RX)
red (3) - NO side of PTT SW2 (TX side of T/R switch)
yellow (4) - COM of PTT SW1 (mic output on TX; pin 2 on RX)
black (5) - NC side of PTT SW2 (RX side of T/R switch)
Notes:
The PTT switch is DPDT. One side is SW1; the other is SW2.
SW1 is the mike output switch; SW2 is the T/R switch.
The COM terminal of SW2 is connected to GND (shield).
The NO terminal of SW1 is connected to the "hot" side of the
mike element. (The hot side of the mike does not have an external
connection. I guess that means no VOX with this mike without
rewiring the connector.)
Good luck!
