[Elecraft] Wire antennas+mojo=fun

I'm just moved to celebrate all we have...reading
about those wire antennas, and also many posts about
the bands being dead, I went on 20M last night for a
little while with my K1 and a ~200' wire (that goes
from the rig, out the window, up the side of the
house, into the attic vent, around the inside of the
attic, out the other vent, up and down a ways through
some branches, then finally down again for about 15'
at the end), and worked Buenos Aires and Morocco. Big
pileup on the CN2 station, and what a thrill to have
him come back to me! No way can that compare to doing
the same thing with a KW and beam at 60'! Contests,
nets, /P or /M ops, ragchewing and DX...all with this
item that'll fit in your pocket, if you've got a
slightly oversize pocket - Bliss! Nirvana!
