To this day, I am certifiably unable to misspell "symmetry" because of the
drilling that a calculus prof in undergrad school gave the class one day.
Seems that too many of the students had misspelled the word on a test . . .

That same prof once showed up only mildly sober at an 8 o'clock class still
dressed in his tux from the previous night's debauchery.

Jerry, to avoid having to remember about toroids, I just say "You know, one
of those roundish, doughnut-looking thingies." Now, see how much easier
that is to remember and spell?
