Michael,

The KAT100 has a variety of extra (and very useful) connectors on both
the rear panel and on the PC board. We put them there to allow for
future system expansion. They can accomodate a wide range of other
equipment that you might want to build into the EC2 (full height)
version of the tuner. Rather than speculate on what that equipment might
be, I'll let you use your imagination.
