Well guys, I have been playin' around with my K2 in my back yard all
weekend. Just getting a few things put together for my next camping trip
that is coming up soon. Can't hardly wait.
Well anyway on to the neat antenna and I don't recall anyone posting
anything about it on the list.

I received my Commercial BuddiPole on Thursday of last week and set it up in
the yard to do a few tests. Whoa! This is a nice antenna! No, I haven't
had a chance to put it thru all of the paces yet but the material and
workmanship are first rate! And it tunes up on 40-10, thats the only bands
I had tried so far, really well. It will also do 6 and 2 meters, but I
don't spend much time there so I haven't tried them yet. And I was checking
out the solar panel/charger and battery set up for this camping trip.

40-10 and with the K2 it seems to be a really nice combination. The SWR was
so good I really didn't have to use the KAT2.... I could get the SWR to 1.5
or less on 40-10 WITHOUT the tuner. Only worked a couple of stations, was
more interested in testing and learning how to tune the antenna. Or I
should say getting use to changing the taps on the coils and the length of
the telescopic whips. You can check it out for yourself on the web at
www.buddipole.com I really am looking forward to this camping trip....I am
going to do nothing but operate the K2 and do a little more "field" testing
with the Commercial Buddipole and my solar set up.

Standard disclaimer applies, don't have any financial interest, yadda,
yadda, yadda. Just wanted to share some info about another nice antenna for
the K1-2 rigs with the QRP world since most of 'em seem to hang out here!
Life just keeps gettin' better!
