With an oscilloscope, I noticed the VRFDet voltage had a much faster attack 
time with the K2 by itself, then with the KPA100.  I then knew the problem 
was with the KPA100...  In a matter of minutes, I traced the problem to C70 
on the KPA100.  The detector voltage attack time (at the cathode of D16) was 
much faster... but slowed down at C70.  Don't know how I did it, but C70 was 
0.1uF "104", instead of the correct value of 0.001uF "102"!  A BIG 
difference.
