Hey Ron:
I just received one of these.
You can not believe how much better is makes my K2 sound
than half a "cozie".
 ebay item 1373306348
I can't figure what else was put inside to make it sound the way it does.
It can actually drown out the Home Shopping Club at 120db HI.
I bugged him with a few questions and he said they were used in a radio
telephone
system removed from school buses and sold a bunch on another site.

Also try cutting in half lengthwise a 'cozie' (the foam beer can coolers). I
also suppose a Styrofoam cup would work. Also a 90 degree PVC coupling. etc.

Ron makes a good point about using a speaker deflector. A handy source of
same, if you do not want to tie up your books, is a plastic air conditioning
deflector cut to size, from the Home Centers or hardware stores.
