[Elecraft] side-tone issue

Wayne:
  Shouldn't it be possible for the initialization routine of the K2 to
determine which side-tone source, U8 or U6, is relevant and set it
automatically, without need recourse to the menu?  One suspects that the
added code wouldn't be any more, and likely less, than that needed for the
menu control.  Just a thought; it would sure alleviate a recurring grief.
