Check a few back issues of QST. There was an article on converting a
250-300W computer power supply to 13.8V @ 20A. Some ferrite chokes may be
needed at the output to suppress the switching action from getting into the
receiver of the rig but no biggie.
I've built a few and they work great.
Cheers,
Robert

Subject: [Elecraft] Power Supply for K2/100
Has anyone found a switching power supply with 20A or more that fits well
into an EC2 cabinet? Or even better: one that is no higher than 1.5", is
very quiet on RF, fits in the EC2, and leaves enough room to squeeze in the
KAT100 with sufficient shielding? If such a thing is not commercially
available are there any proven plans to build one yourself?
