[Elecraft] Any K2/100 CW/SSB users with an Oscilloscope?

I would like you to try this test:

*Hookup your K2/100 to a 50 ohm dummy load.
*Set the K2/100 for CW mode.
*Place a scope (probe) across the dummy load.
*Set the K2/100 for 50 watts, and transmit into the load.  Take a reference 
of the peak-to-peak      
amplitude on the Oscilloscope (it should be around 144Vpp, which is 50 
watts).
*Now, place the K2/100 in SSB mode.
*Key the microphone, and speak into it in a normal voice.
*What is the peak-to-peak amplitude on the scope?  It should go no further 
then the pp amplitude in 
CW... but mine K2/100 goes to 218Vpp!  On my Mark-V rig, it goes no further 
than it does during 
CW...
