Yes, RF getting into the voltage and current sensing circuits on the
control board is a known problem, particularly on 160 and 80 meters. 
There is a recommended mod to either replace or parallel C42 (0.01 mFd)
on the control board with a 0.1 mFd capacitor to alleviate this problem. 
However, I believe you said you are using the KPA100, and this mod is
included with the KPA100 kit, so perhaps (if it is indeed RF getting into
this circuitry) your K2 needs even more capacity there.
