Hi
This is usually caused by the voltmeter switch on the control board in th=
e wrong position. I don't think anyone uses the built in voltmeter so I p=
ut a dab of silicone rubber on the switch so it can not get switched to t=
he external voltage position. A small piece of tape would work also.

Thanks to Elecraft for this very neat electrical and mechanical design.
My K2 went together and worked first time without a hitch.
I just had my first K2 QSO with Max, PA1MAX on 40M and he said it sounded
great...
I do get the "LO Batt" warning though - using a 20A Yaesu power supply!
Anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas where to start looking?
Thanks,

P.S. I haven't done exhaustive tests, but the rx appears to be comparabl=
e
to my IC765 with 2 x INRAD filters (not bad for a radio weighing around 1=
0
times less!).
