Folks,

Tonight I completed work on a KPA100 for a fellow ham. As a final test
I put the rig on the air for a short time. Tuning the SSB segment of
20m I hear RA3GS calling CQ. So, I dial up 100 watts, drop my
call--"November Zero Romeo Charlie 5 by 9 thanks for QSO OM", was the
reply. How cool is that?

I must admit I'm taken by the sexy look of that heat-sink inset into
the K2 mainframe. Bravo to the Elecraft team for a job well done.
Assembly was a snap with the very well done manual, and the extensive
"test as you go" insures success.

I just might have to get one of these amp gizmos for my
lean-mean-CW-machine (S/N 2006).
