I have installed a Balun in my K2 and do not plan on using a
transverter any time soon. I would like suggest, that the option
should be constructed so that space remains for a balun (which
uses the transverter holes for the balanced line connection) and
if one does not want the transveter interface, one can just leave 
out the tranverter bits and pieces.
