[Elecraft] Any benefits to a Long "Long Wire"

The higher in frequency you go, the more the wire will become
directional off the ends. That could be good or bad, depending on your
situation. There is another unknown thrown in by the fact that it will
not be run in a straight line. If you are going to end feed it then
you will need some sort of grounding system. On 10M you might get away
with a ground rod but on 80 and 160M you will surely need a
counterpoise or burried radial system of some sort.
