I applaud you guys for getting this in the pipeline, however
long it may take. 

If the option becomes available for the K1, will the K1 RF board
need to have the RF choke added to use the KAT1 on 60m? (I mean the choke
which should be added for 80m KAT1 operations.)

Mine's already installed, but others may wonder about that.
