[Elecraft] K2 SSB problems?

SSB problems??  I don't have any!  I'm primarily a 
CW operator, but I have *no* trouble getting out
with my K2.  

I check in to a daily net on 7232 kHz that covers
northern California and southern Oregon.  Newcomers 
are always surprised that I'm "only" running 10 watts. 
I have on several occasions even been Net Control!

I also check in to several nets (ARES, WX Spotters,
Sojourners) on 3987 kHz in the evenings.  All this
usiing a 30 meter inverted Vee that's up only 30 feet
at the apex (fed with ladder line). Isn't the KAT2 great?

Occasionally, I even check into a 160 meter net, using
the same antenna!  Conditions have to be good for that
one, though.

I always get reports of outstanding audio.  I'm using 
the Heil microphone that Elecraft is now OEMing.

But I'm still mostly a CW op ;-)  Retired, too!
