[Elecraft] Motorola Speaker VS Bookshelf Speaker ?

That's really a couple of questions.
There is how it sounds. That's a function of the speaker size and the
housing it's in.
Then there's the question of how loud it seems with a given amount of audio
driving it. That's a function of the amplifier output impedance, the
speaker impedance and the housing.
The Motorola speakers are tailored for high output from a 4 ohm source and
for communications quality (not exactly hi-fi) audio, although I would
suppose an ordinary AM radio wouldn't sound too bad through them.
For ham purposes, they work excellently.

Subject: [Elecraft] Motorola Speaker VS Bookshelf Speaker ?
For use with the K2, the Motorola speakers are supposed to be good
communication speakers but are they any better (or worse) than a good
bookshelf speaker?
