I totally agree with Wayne. After trying dipoles, inverted V's. delta loops, and all sorts of antennas that require feedlines and/or multiple support points, I've settled on the end-fed wire, set up as vertical as possible, as the best field antenna. Spacing of the support tree(s) isn't critical, and I've even used it in the desert where there was nothing higher than 10 feet. 73 Bruce N7CEE
