[Elecraft] K1 freq shifting

I'm having a blast with my K1... what a cool rig! 

Question: 
If I flex the housing of my K1, I can change the
receive frequency by several hundred Hertz (depending
on how much I flex it).  

Is this a unique feature of my kit-building skills, or
is this standard equipment on all K1s?
