Hi Jeff!

TNX for the email.  I had a good time in my canoe--and I'm glad we had our
contact on 20 meters around 1852 UTC.  TNX for the 579 HO from IN.  I still
find it hard to believe how well a few watts (about 2W to you) and a simple
dipole can do.  It was fun in the canoe, but I think I'm getting a bit too
old for the getting in and getting out of the boat routine.  Otherwise I was
just fine: birds in trees, butterflies, even a flying bat--in full sunshine,
too! I could see the little fish below and beside the boat.  The coax was
partially submerged.  I had to tie my boat to a log to keep from drifting
downstream!
