[Elecraft] K1 gets first DX

Newly built K1 serial 1178 this morning got its first DX.
Worked ZL2TX on 7006  at around 1010 GMT.  Running 5 watts out
at the time into an 80 meter dipole at 50 feet, fed with 100 feet
of 450 ohm ladder line.  Tuner is homebrewed "match box" type
network.  His signals were around 539/549 my report was 339.

Reminds me of the time I worked  another ZL with a Ten-Tec PM-3A
on 20 meters.  Don't believe I ever got that excited about a DX contact
since!  Anybody remember the Ten-Tec "PM" series?
