The problem is that the IARU beacons are not all on 14100.00, they are all over the
place!  I calibrated my K2 against my Racal frequency counter, which has not itself
been checked for many years.  The 'mean' frequency of the 14100 beacons on my K2 is
14099.98 with a spread of 20-30Hz, but only the OH, CS3 and 4X beacons are copied
with any regularity in the present band conditions.  WWV on 10MHz is not normally
copyable in the UK, and the MSF frequency transmissions appear to be no longer on the
air.  Anybody recommend a known reference transmission in the K2 tuning range for us
in Europe?
