[Elecraft] KAT2 two or one antenna?

Hello all,

I have just built and installed the KAT2 into my K2. I hope soon to get a 
G5RV up (seen the messages about yes/no to baluns), for the moment I have a 
20m dipole and random wire.

The situation is if I have both antennas attached then remove one antenna 
and select it there is still a signal! It appears to be coming fromt he 
other antenna! Is the circuit supposed to do this?

Also, does anyone know where I can get T50-1 or T44-1 torroid cores in the 
UK?
