[Elecraft] K1 Quirks

K1 # 956 now hears very well, my thanks to Gary & others for the good
advice.

I have developed a few curious quirks however -

1) On 7, 10, & 14Mhz (21Mhz is A-OK!) I can't get the radio to stay in
the "Tune" mode for the transmitter alignment section. As soon I as
release both WPM buttons, the rig jumps out of "tune".

2) Also on 7, 10, & 14Mhz (but not 21Mhz!) the radio goes into a sending
loop. It sends an endless stream of  "Dah dit Dah dit Dah dit etc....."
when I key the iambic paddles. It does this no matter whether I'm set on
"A" or "B", or PDLn or PDLr. The
radio goes into straight cw tone if I use the straight key(set to
"HAND"). In either case the only way I can get the radio to stop sending
is to turn off the power switch.

This should be something simple since one band (21Mhz) is unaffected,
but the other 3 bands (7, 10, & 14Mhz) are having the trouble. What say
the Guru's?
