What do you consider as nothing in audio? Are you still hearing audio? The
audio filter will naturally drop your audio. If not you would still have a
lot of noise. What level do you set your volume control until you have
acceptable audio?
I set mine at about the 11 o'clock position for AF1 and 12 to 1 oclock for
the AF2 position. Attenuation of the audio is normal cause it's filtering
out much of the audio frequencies to a narrow passband and therfore the
overall audio power is reduced considerably.

Completed the Audio Filter board but have run into a little trouble. During
the alignment & test section everything works until I switch in the audio
filter by moving S1 to IN position, my audio drops to almost nothing. I can
still hear the audio but I have to crank up the volume to its maximum
postion. Same is true when I listen to the internal birdie on CW.
Where do I start looking for this. I've tripled check components, touched up
solder connections but still no go. Ideas would be appreciated.
