I hope to be using my K2-100  MOBILE.
In the past I used hamsticks, husters and an outback with my k2 then later 
with  706MKIIG.... for the past year i have enjoyed the yaesu atas100. It 
works for me.
No tuner needed for 40 thru 10. JA,BD,FO8,ZL, 9K,  etc

With all the sophistication of the K2, the availability of both 8 & 12 
volts in the K2 , plus the swr information available, I wonder how tough to 
provide the necessary 8 vdc-antenna up & 12 vdc antenna down command on the 
antenna line, based on the swr readings???????   as in total auto 
antenna...?    even if it were an outboard box, cool to use those smarts.

Can you tell I've cleaned up the mobile  for Dayton; and am thinking of the 
future.
  it would take just a little code.....( like I have a clue )
