Becaue of the fact that some top-mounted components may inferfere with 
soldering BOTTOM-mounted components from the top, you may have to solder 
some bottom-mounted components from the BOTTOM.

Then, there is the concern about having to clip the leads of these 
components once they have been installed... if the top-mounted interfere 
with this, it is better to trim the leads to the proper length BEFORE 
installing the component on he bottom of the board. Once trimmed to the 
proper length, just lay the component in place and solder ON THE SAME 
(bottom ) side of the board.
